After a few years of not advertising, Mike’s wanted to build relevancy for their flagship product prior to the launch of a new brand campaign. Luckily the Cat Lawyer came around and captured everyone's attention with his innocent yet embarrassing moment. “I’m here live. I’m not a cat,” Rod pleaded with the Judge. Leveraging the original brand tagline of, “A hard day calls for a hard lemonade,” WIP was able to connect the Mike’s brand to a pop culture moment and help make the brand relevant again. And this was all done in less than 48 hours.
The effort included a :15 that ran in paid social and was leveraged in earned media outreach.
